Rainer’s Bavarian Grill with growth ambition

Shifting priorities to enable growth

Stefan Schenkelberg, one of the owners, has become very busy recently.

‘We try to achieve what we haven’t achieved for six years.’ Stefan explained. For strategic advice to ‘get the priorities right’ the business couple is liaising with an Enterprise Agency in St Albans. ‘It’s just too much to deal with at present and our business is too small, so falls short of staff members with expertise in different fields including legal matters.’

On Saturday they are sending their can to a charity event in Bermondsey.

p style=”text-align:left”>The planning application for home delivery service to Potters Bar Homes has reached a stage where legal input would be helpful. ‘we invested just short of £500 and are now a bit stuck as the surveyors raised questions,’ Stefan explained.

Stefan has now instructed an American based SEO optimisation company to help with the ranking of their website.

They have pre-booked six days of large events during the months of July, August and September and there is already a large Xmas event for them in the pipeline.

And there are issues of a different nature concerning the couple’s interest to completely breaking away from social security. Brexit and the new Tory government , it seems, makes it hard for them to survive. So they are looking already to opportunities to go abroad. ‘whilst this blog is being drafted, Regina and Stefan are seeking legal advise to challenge a decision by local authority.

We will keep you updated as things progress.

new date for re-opening

Hello folks,

it’s been a roller coaster ride for the Schenkelberg couple as they have recently dealt with unforeseen circumstances.

claim

They were happy with the purchase of their new towing vehicle but, when they didn’t expect it, it turned out that they bought a faulty vehicle with the lights broken. This had affected our road worthiness. The seller, a car dealer, remained ignorant so the case was quickly forwarded to the courts to deal with; our boss really can be ‘scrupulous’ when dealing with issues.

It’s just a miner incident really but big enough to mess around with their plans for the re-opening of their shop.

Rainer’s Bavarian Grill will now open it’s doors to the public on the 2nd of March 2017. They will be giving away samples of their home-made curry sauce (while stocks last).

“It’s not easy for us since the council has declined our application for a Temporary Event Notice to be able to launch services with a Oktoberfest style event. We are preparing well enough and have already started to build our All-New-Website at www.oktoberfestfoodandfun.uk. The Council has adopted a policy of not allowing the sale of alcohol on the market unless, we understand, arrangements have been agreed upon prior to an event. Our first reaction was pure disbelief and we withdrew immediately from the application.”

The board members have today, having slept over their initial decision, made another attempt to consider the Council’s offer for a permanent trading pitch, Tuesday – Saturday.

For decades restaurants were at the sole mercy of newspaper reviewers, they now also have the opportunity to reach a group of key online influencers – the bloggers.

We have invited for an intimate afternoon of dining and entertainment, members of this influential group to discover the Bavarian themed food outlet and its delights.

Clearly, we want to bring food lovers to the ‘can’ and create news to resonate with the local foodie audience.

We decided to put on an event to showcase Rainer’s Bavarian Grill dining experience. But in a city well-versed in multinational cuisine, a simple snack at the venue would not be enough. We needed to create an innovative tasting event.

Bavarian Themed Set Up

Our aim is to drive changes in perceptions of German food and food-on-the-go.

More food enthusiasts are needed, those that want to be spoiled on the evening of our tasting event. The ideal guest would be YOU who travels the country extensively in search of the very best food stories.

Guten Appetit wünscht

Imbissgeschäft in London

Mittwoch, 23.09.2015

our ‘festival can’ @Mid-Summer Festival in Lyton

First the good news: There will be German food available at the festival!!

three years on, food truck developed

We are all very excited about the forthcoming event this coming SUNDAY but the prospect of us being the one serving German food at the event has now been hampered; the council’s event team, apparently unaware of progress with the food stall arrangements of their outsourced event management organization, has apparently booked in another German vendor for the event.

We are awaiting news by the event organizers to clarify things. We are not giving up on this wonderful opportunity for our ‘can’ to spoil the visitors of the festival with delicious and healthy cooked German food.

Finger’s crossed we will take part. If the worst thing that can happen does happen we will have our fees reimbursed and we will be able to select a replacement event. We have a long summer ahead and as it looks plenty of sunshine and there are hundreds and hundreds of events being held this coming summer.
